My research field is defined by two factors. First, my dissertation itself. Clearly. Second, and this is the real heavyweight, my previous experience in technical projects. From this, the question of „couldn’t we have known that?“ and „if we dealt with each other properly, wouldn’t the project have gone much better?
And yes, I am not the first person to notice this or to be interested in it and do research…. and that’s a good thing…. and yet. I’d like to do my part here.
These are my current fields of research:
- Knowledge Management
(Standard; Agile and AI supported) - Project Team Performance
(with focus on technical development)
To #1:
Knowledge Management. A big topic. An often ignored topic. Somehow you know you need it but,… awwhhw,… that’s kind of scratchy. Costs money and time,… and does it ever bring anything? Everything changes so quickly, should you still know how to convert? And if so… how? „Classically“ into a database? Or better with AI support? And is knowledge management also possible when working agile? Does it fit in there?
To 2:
Why does a project team work well together? Or why suddenly not anymore? Does it help if I support the project with an external person? And what should the person be like? How big is the influence of the corporate culture on successful project work? Is it good if the generation gap in the project is getting bigger and bigger? Can old and young really work together as equals?
Joah, that’s what I’m dealing with. 🙂 Exciting,… Isn’t it?
